IFAC Coaches support blind archer in his championship win

79-year old registered blind Inverness archer John Long won a medal every day of the Blind Veterans UK Archery Championship and was very pleased to be awarded the overall win at the end of the week. He puts his success down to the weekly Golden Arrows coaching and practice sessions at Merkinch Community Centre, which are facilitated by IFAC coaches.

The sessions promoting the sport are targeted towards senior citizens and those with additional challenges within the community. Congratulations to John, and well done and thank you to the coaches whose knowledge, skills and dedication help provide much enjoyment those who attend the Golden Arrows group!
